The product test engineer will be a member of the Software Test organization.  He or she will organize and perform a variety of verification and quality assurance tests on AuthenTec’s state of the art, fingerprint identification products.  The tests will range from gathering fingerprint sensor data from a number of biometric test subjects to complete application level testing of the end product’s hardware and software. 

Working with the AuthenTec product development teams, the test engineer will be responsible for creating and organizing test cases, writing test plans, configuring test systems, compiling test checklists, performing the detailed tests, documenting the results and managing the test data. The test engineer will also verify the product performance specifications, write and improve automation scripts while assisting in the continuing improvement of product quality.

Required Education/Experience:        

·         Must possess a good technical understanding of Microsoft Windows Personal Computers including the various operating systems, file structures, application interaction, and use on a Microsoft Windows network, together with strong capability in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.

·         At least one year of relevant experience in a product quality testing related role is a requirement.

·         Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential

·         Demonstrated capability for taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.

·         Experience in the development and application of software/system test methodologies

·         Experience in the development and maintenance of test automation is a plus

·         BSEE or Computer Science degree desirable

Requirements:

The Software Configuration Management Engineer will work closely with the application development teams to support software development and deployment activities. Successful candidates will champion configuration management principals and processes to maintain and improve our development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Implement established configuration management processes and procedures
• Maintain releases,  configuration status accounting, and perform document control processing
• Provide advice and guidance on new methods, practices, procedures, and requirements
• Maintain and develop automated build and deployment systems
• Analyze, audit and document existing systems and applications
• Interface with Software Engineering, QA and PM to ensure use of basic CM practices.

• Control the version migration process as each version moves through the development and testing process.

Required Education/Experience:

·         At least 5 years of Build/Release/Configuration experience in a product environment

·         Must have worked closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams to create a vision for the product configuration management (baseline, increments and rollouts to multiple customer bases) for at least 1-2 software products

·         Support multiple code baselines, builds and deliver frequent releases

·         Strategize on best practices for ongoing parallel development, featuring branching, merging, and common library management

·         Experience with source control management systems in a distributed environment

·         Experience writing Ant scripts

Requirements:

The packaging engineer will be responsible for sustaining high volume production of state-of-the-art BGA packages for advanced fingerprint sensors at our packaging subcontractors.  In addition, the packaging engineer will work with our engineering and marketing teams to develop cost effective, robust and aesthetically pleasing packages for new fingerprint sensor ICs.  He/she will also provide direct technical support to our customers worldwide.  Domestic and international travel will be required.

• Five to ten years experience in a high volume semiconductor manufacturing environment with strong experience in transfer molding of IC packages
