Product Test Engineer (Melbourne, FL)
Requirements:
The product test engineer will be a member of the Software Test organization. He or she will organize and perform a variety of verification and quality assurance tests on AuthenTec’s state of the art, fingerprint identification products. The tests will range from gathering fingerprint sensor data from a number of biometric test subjects to complete application level testing of the end product’s hardware and software.
Working with the AuthenTec product development teams, the test engineer will be responsible for creating and organizing test cases, writing test plans, configuring test systems, compiling test checklists, performing the detailed tests, documenting the results and managing the test data. The test engineer will also verify the product performance specifications, write and improve automation scripts while assisting in the continuing improvement of product quality.
Required Education/Experience:
· Must possess a good technical understanding of Microsoft Windows Personal Computers including the various operating systems, file structures, application interaction, and use on a Microsoft Windows network, together with strong capability in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
· At least one year of relevant experience in a product quality testing related role is a requirement.
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential
· Demonstrated capability for taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
· Experience in the development and application of software/system test methodologies
· Experience in the development and maintenance of test automation is a plus
· BSEE or Computer Science degree desirable

Software Configuration Management Engineer (Melbourne, FL)
Requirements:
The Software Configuration Management Engineer will work closely with the application development teams to support software development and deployment activities. Successful candidates will champion configuration management principals and processes to maintain and improve our development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Implement established configuration management processes and procedures
- Maintain releases, configuration status accounting, and perform document control processing

Responsibilities:
- Manage, motivate and grow the software team in accordance with the needs of the business
- Establish software product development specifications and priorities in close collaboration with the product marketing teams, silicon engineering and scientific teams

Packaging Engineer (Melbourne, FL)
Requirements:
The packaging engineer will be responsible for sustaining high volume production of state-of-the-art BGA packages for advanced fingerprint sensors at our packaging subcontractors. In addition, the packaging engineer will work with our engineering and marketing teams to develop cost effective, robust and aesthetically pleasing packages for new fingerprint sensor ICs.
